Mul-T-Lock electric strikes are designed with an adjustable keeper to simplify the installation. The latch cavity accommodates locksets with a 1/2” to 5/8” throw in metal or wood frames

• Fail Secure: Also called fail-locked or non-fail safe. In this configuration, applying an electric current to the strike will cause it to unlock.The strike would remain locked in a power failure, but typically the mechanical lock can still be used to open the door from the inside. Powering the strikes by AC, will cause the unit to buzz. Powering the strikes by DC will result in silent operation, except for a “click” while the unit is powered.
